Why would American Idol producers even consider hiring Howard Stern as a replacement for Simon Cowell?

Howard Stern reportedly offered to replace Simon Cowell at the tune of 0 Million. Now that's what I call absurd! I mean, what kind of ridiculous nonsense is that? Could you imagine him on the show? He might say something like: "You're a bit out of key, honey; maybe you should take off your top--it might make you a bit more interesting". Give me a break!

Exactly. I have know idea why they think that hiring him would be a good idea. It’ll make the show a huge trainwreck.

Ellen, Kara, and Randy can’t do this show without Simon… the show is too big for them.

    Ellen made a few jokes… I didn’t laugh.

Kara and Randy don’t really say anything.

So we need a judge who contestants can splash water on…

So Howard… he deserves some water splash on him… COME ON!!!
    Sign him on.

I haven’t heard about that, but i seriously hope that never happens. Nothing would make me stop watching faster than having that idiot on the show…

Howard is a professional and his radio persona would not be present on AI. I think he would give an honest opinion and not be frightened of celebrities of any status,

  5. Two Smoking Guns says:

Howard Stern only appeals to men of low IQ. He really has no talent of his own,
relying on several other dimwits to carry his terrible attempt at entertainment.

His show has had a few interesting days, but mostly it is entertainment by dimwits, for dimwits. Tasteless describes him best.

Simon on the other hand is a very interesting, and tasteful, person.
