Paul McCartney would be a great judge to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol. Besides his musical gifts he is also well spoken,intelligent and has the toughness to be a more than qualified judge. He would also bring the star power and probably help keep up the ratings for another 5 years or so.
He would never agree to that. I doubt he would lower his standards. He once performed on the uk version, the x factor and then afterwards said people who apply for reality shows like that have no talent…
Paul is a musician not a talent scout. They need someone with an eye for talent to replace a talent scount like Simon Cowell
To be honest, I think it would be terrible. He is such a talented and respected musician, doing this would definatly bring his reputation down- this job ( i think) is more for less amazing people. He can do better than this and he doesn’t need the money or more popularity, he’s from one of the biggest bands of ALL TIME!
that’d be cool…but it’ll never happen.
There is not enough money in the world to coax Sir Paul in being on a terrible karaoke show like American Idol.He would NEVER associate himself with such a thing.
