Simon Cowell’s face was a picture!

If there's one thing you can say about Simon Cowell, it's that he certainly knows talent when he sees it !

Susan Boyle – The Magic Starts

The audience were giggling when Susan was being interviewed and when the judges were chatting to her. All that stopped...as soon as she started to sing ! Unbelievable !

Susan Boyle before we knew

Susan Boyle was just another contestant before the magical moment when she took over the stage on Britain's Got Talent.

AMAZING AMAZING ART drawn with SAND!

You have to see this to believe it, I've never seen anything like this in my life!

NOTHING to do with Susan Boyle at all, but this is a greta place to share something REALLY FANTASTIC!

BUT  . . you MUST first read it properly..

This video shows the winner of " Ukraine’s Got Talent",  Kseniya Simonova, 24,  drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II.  Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch.

The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about £75,000.

She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is obliterated.

It is replaced by a woman’s face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova throws the sand into chaos from which a young woman’s face appears.

She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier.

This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house.

In the final scene, a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, saying goodbye.

The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine , resulted in one in four of the population being killed with eight to 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.

Kseniya Simonova says:
"I find it difficult enough to create art using paper and pencils or paintbrushes, but using sand and fingers is beyond me. The art, especially when the war is used as the subject matter, even brings some audience members to tears. And there’s surely no bigger compliment."

The clip in which Susan Boyle wows the sceptical Britain's Got Talent judges with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream, has received more than 120 million views worldwide over the last 12 months.

That's almost four times as many views as the second most-watched video, David After Dentist, which shows a young boy attempting to hold a conversation with his father shortly after receiving an anaesthetic at the dentist.

A hilarious wedding dance in which the groom and bride-to-be shimmy and gyrate down the aisle to the strains of Forever, by Chris Brown, has received 33 million views...

...while the trailer for New Moon, the latest movie installment in the Twilight vampire saga, was watched more than 31 million times.

An Evian advert, featuring babies on roller skates, has also proved a hit, with more than 27 million global views.

"From a new singer's debut on the world stage to newlyweds dancing down the aisle, YouTube offers everyone a way to experience and share in the big or small moments that touch millions of people around the world," said Chad Hurley, chief executive and co-founder of YouTube.

Google, which bought YouTube for $1.65 billion in 2006, also revealed the most popular YouTube search terms over the last 12 months.

In January, most YouTube users were searching for videos of Barack Obama's inauguration, while in February, a video clip showing actor Christian Bale yelling at someone on the set of his new film became an internet hit.

Searches for Michael Jackson videos peaked following the singer's death in the summer, and millions of people have searched for videos of golfer Tiger Woods this month, following revelations about a string of affairs.

They’re not laughing now!

"This is an unbelievable achievement and shows to what extent she has captured the hearts of people all over Britain, America and indeed, the rest of the world.”

The chairman of Columbia Records, said: "One of the things that is so unique about Susan Boyle is her ability to touch people around the world. We’re excited that I Dreamed a Dream holds the new record for global pre-orders and that Amazon’s customers have supported her album in this way.”

Susan Boyle, 48, recently talked about how difficult her school days were and how she would be beaten by teachers during her school days and taunted by fellow pupils for her learning difficulties.

She said: "'I was often left behind at school because of one thing or another. I was a slow learner.

''I'm just I'm a wee bit slower at picking things up than other people. So you get left behind in a system that just wants to rush on, you know? That was what I felt was happening to me.

''There was discipline for the sake of discipline back then. But it's all very different now. I think teachers are taught to understand children with learning disabilities a lot better.''

Susan is a church volunteer, from Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland and stunned audiences with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream on the ITV talent show, Britain;'s Got Talent..

She came second in the competition, behind dance troupe Diversity, but won over fans around the world including Demi Moore and Elaine Paige, Susan's heroine, who has since offered to sinf a duet with her.

She initially struggled with her sudden fame, and checked into The Priory for exhaustion following the end of the show.

Susan Boyle receives special tribute from idol Elaine Page

susan-boyles-new-album
Susan Boyle has been praised by her idol, singing legend Elaine Page, who’s said the Britain’s Got Talent breakout star has “a streak of Scottish grit beneath the surface”.
SuBo listed the stars of musicals as her main influence during the reality show - indeed, Page sang Les Miserables hit I Dreamed A Dream years before Susan brought it to a global internet audience.

Now the 61-year-old singing veteran has paid tribute to the Scottish star as Susan prepares to release her debut album on November 23.

elaine-pagePage said: "Susan's learning fast - she's got over the initial shock. Yes, she still seems quite vulnerable but there's a streak of Scottish grit beneath the surface.

"And she's got a good team around her. So let's hope they continue to protect and look after her. I wish her great success."

Page compared her success story to that of her best known character Evita. Talking about Susan’s famous first performance on Britain’s Got Talent, she admitted: "I found it rather emotional, a rags to riches kind of story - a bit like Evita herself. But it was more than that.

"I felt I knew what Susan was going through, the full horror of it all. You could see it in her eyes. I hadn't been very confident when Evita changed my world but I was a professional."

Susan seems to have overcome her nerves after a stunning performance on American Idol, and her upcoming debut album has broken the record as the biggest CD to ever be pre-ordered on Amazon.com in the US, making it a surefire success.

Susan Boyle Set in Stone

The perfect statue?Plans are reportedly under way to create a statue of singing sensation Susan Boyle.

Plans to create a statue in honour of Susan Boyle have won the support of West Lothian Council, according to Scotsman.com.

The council believes the statue could bring flocks of tourists to her hometown of Blackburn, keen to pay tribute to the Britain's Got Talent singing sensation.

It is thought that the idea of a statue emerged as a suitable way to mark her achievements, after a couple from New York visited the town and wrote a web diary of life in Boyle's backyard.

This included a "heritage trail" of a chip shop, a Chinese takeaway, the hotel where she performed karaoke, and her council house.

Tom Church, the sculptor who created Stirling's William Wallace statue, gave his support to the idea, saying: "Susan is Scotland's wee Braveheart and I would love to set her in stone."

At the moment there are no permanent tributes in Blackburn, apart from the war memorial.

What do YOU think the statue should be like?
