I hesitate to add this video to my site that SUPPORTS Susan Boyle but I feel that Shsaron Osourne was SO out of line to speak like this live on air about ANYONE let alone someone such as Susan who has quite a delicate persona.

The former X-Factor judge said Boyle, who has proved a major success in America, was a "lovely lady" who had been hit by the "ugly stick".
Laughing on the American Opie & Anthony Talk Show on Sirius XM Radio she added: "You just want to say God bless... and here's a Gillette razor.

The clip was posted on YouTube, prompting an angry response from viewers.

One wrote "Sharon is a nasty piece of work", while another said: "All of this coming from a woman who needed to spend tens of thousands of dollars to look the way she does now..."

In September, Boyle made her US television debut, appearing on the finale of America's Got Talent where she received a series of positive reviews.

Among the judges who gave her a standing ovation was Osbourne, a judge on the show, alongside David Hasselhof and Piers Morgan."

In my opinion,  Sharon Osbourne has lost a lot of my respect for her hurtful, spiteful and totally unnecessary comments.

Now, I'm from the UK and I've never heard of the guys who host the radio show ( Opie & Anthony Talk Show on Sirius XM Radio ) but they have totally degraded themselves by cackling along with Sharon Osbourne and egging her on.

Is this entertainment? Or just plain nastiness?

BUT  . . you MUST first read it properly..

This video shows the winner of " Ukraine’s Got Talent",  Kseniya Simonova, 24,  drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II.  Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch.
 
The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about £75,000.
 
She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is obliterated.
 
It is replaced by a woman’s face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova throws the sand into chaos from which a young woman’s face appears.
 
She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier.
 
This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house.
 
In the final scene, a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, saying goodbye.
 
The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine , resulted in one in four of the population being killed with eight to 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.

Kseniya Simonova says: 
"I find it difficult enough to create art using paper and pencils or paintbrushes, but using sand and fingers is beyond me. The art, especially when the war is used as the subject matter, even brings some audience members to tears. And there’s surely no bigger compliment."

The clip in which Susan Boyle wows the sceptical Britain's Got Talent judges with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream, has received more than 120 million views worldwide over the last 12 months.

That's almost four times as many views as the second most-watched video, David After Dentist, which shows a young boy attempting to hold a conversation with his father shortly after receiving an anaesthetic at the dentist.

A hilarious wedding dance in which the groom and bride-to-be shimmy and gyrate down the aisle to the strains of Forever, by Chris Brown, has received 33 million views...

...while the trailer for New Moon, the latest movie installment in the Twilight vampire saga, was watched more than 31 million times.

An Evian advert, featuring babies on roller skates, has also proved a hit, with more than 27 million global views.

"From a new singer's debut on the world stage to newlyweds dancing down the aisle, YouTube offers everyone a way to experience and share in the big or small moments that touch millions of people around the world," said Chad Hurley, chief executive and co-founder of YouTube.

Google, which bought YouTube for $1.65 billion in 2006, also revealed the most popular YouTube search terms over the last 12 months.

In January, most YouTube users were searching for videos of Barack Obama's inauguration, while in February, a video clip showing actor Christian Bale yelling at someone on the set of his new film became an internet hit.

Searches for Michael Jackson videos peaked following the singer's death in the summer, and millions of people have searched for videos of golfer Tiger Woods this month, following revelations about a string of affairs.

Susan Boyle's new home, new look, $10 million record deal

Susan Boyle could make up to $10 million from her new album, according to Simon Cowell, who discovered her on "Britain's Got Talent."

"I think your sister is wonderful and she could be the biggest star I've ever discovered," Cowell also told Gerry Boyle, Susan's brother, according to published reports.

Boyle has also become very close to Cowell. He calls her twice a week to keep her posted her on the plans to crack America. He also makes sure she is being taken care of, and not worked too hard.  They talk about how the album is coming together and he has assured Boyle she'll have a smash record.

Boyle can't believe her new life, according to her brother. "I can't believe how much my life has changed in the past few weeks. I am so happy and I never want it to end," she told him.

Boyle has also moved into a plush apartment in London's exclusive West Kensington neighborhood with her cat Pebbles, has been given a credit card for shopping and had her teeth whitened at Simon's insistence.

Cowell  has also given Boyle a personal assistant named Julia, and her media  is now being handled by Nicola Phillips, who previously worked for PR guru Max Clifford.

Boyle is working long hours in the studio trying to get  her album perfect. Her album is being produced with the help of the legendary Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer of "Cats."

Gerry Boyle says Cowell promised to look after his sister after she became an overnight sensation, and her history of nervousness became apparent.

"If she doesn't want to go forward from 'Britain's Got Talent.' I will walk away now and there is no pressure. But if she does, I promise to wrap her in cotton wool and make her a star," Cowell told Gerry Boyle.

Elaine Paige has agreed to sing a duet on the album and she has been hanging out in the studio with Boyle, helping her handle the pressures of fame.

AMAZON PRE SALE RECORD SMASHED

The imminent debut album by Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has become the largest global CD pre-order in the history of Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

Boyle's album "I Dreamed a Dream" will be released on November 24 by Sony Music Entertainment.

It is the first album since the dowdy 48 year-old church volunteer from Scotland took the Internet by storm with her incredible star turn performance on the TV show "Britain's Got Talent" in April.

Amazon said that Boyle's album was not only the top CD pre-order in the United States, but also the biggest around the world in the 14-year history of it's web site.

Amazon declined to give their pre-order figures but said "I Dreamed a Dream" surpassed the 2008 record held by "Supermarket Fantasy" from Japanese rock band Mr. Children, 2007's "Not Too Late" by U.S. singer Norah Jones, and British group Take That's "Never Forget: The Ultimate Collection" in 2008.

"Susan's album is clearly capturing the hearts of our customers around the globe," said Craig Pape, senior manager of music at Amazon.com.

Who's Laughing Now

Despite the common perception that she sprang from nowhere, Susan Boyle is not entirely unused to fame.

She was well known in the village where she has lived all her life as the slightly batty spinster who lived alone with her cat, Pebbles.

She adopted eccentric habits such as keeping money in an empty whisky bottle and cheerfully allowed herself to be teased by the local children on the rare occasions she ventured out of her pebbledash-fronted terrace house.

They called her Susie Bong, or Susie Simple. Now, as the world knows, Susie Simple has gone global.

It all began a few weeks ago when her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream, from the musical Les Miserables, was screened on the launch of the third series of ITV's Britain's Got Talent.

Every village has one, and 48-year-old Susan Boyle, who was born with minor brain damage and has learning difficulties, obligingly played the role to which she had been cast.

She stepped out onto the stage in a brown lace dress that bore the unmistakable stamp of 'local boutique', set off by thin black tights and tan shoes.

She announced she wanted to become the next Elaine Paige and did a hip wiggle that was mildly disturbing. The audience and judges leaned back in their chairs and prepared to be entertained, for all the wrong reasons.

By the end of the song, they were all on their feet and one of the judges, Amanda Holden, had tears in her eyes.

It was the start of the Susan Boyle phenomenon. So far, assorted clips of Boyle's performance have been watched more than 100 million times on YouTube.

Judge Simon Cowell is said to be lining up a record deal for her with his Sony BMG label (she says she can't talk about it, but is not denying it).

And America, a market even British A-list pop stars struggle to break, has gone crazy for her. She has already appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show. Cowell is predicting a number one album in the US.

'The ones who were mean to me are now nice to me,' Susan revealed during her interview with CBS, a reference, surely, to those people who have teased and tormented her over the years.

The video clip has also been shown on NBC's Today Show and reduced the host, Kathie Lee Gifford, to tears. Susan was also interviewed on the American breakfast show Good Morning America.

Hollywood's contribution to the Susan Boyle phenomenon came from 46-year-old actress Demi Moore and her 31-year- old husband, Ashton Kutcher.

Kutcher posted a link on the social networking site Twitter, about Susan's singing, saying 'This just made my night', and his wife replied: 'It made me teary!'

Articles have appeared in newspapers all over the world including such diverse and far-flung publications as The Washington Post, The Toronto Star and The Maldives Chronicle.

At least two Susan Boyle internet fan sites have been set up and she now has her own entry on the internet encyclopedia Wikipedia.

To cap it all, Dr Robert Canfield, Professor of Anthology at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri, has published an academic essay about the Boyle phenomenon, entitled Susan Boyle And The Power Of The Moral Imagination.

'Buried within the human psyche are feelings, yearnings, anxieties too deep for words, usually,' he wrote.

'Always it is something outside ourselves that touches us, somehow, where we feel most deeply. At such moments we remember that we are humans - not merely creatures, but human beings, profoundly and deeply shaped by a moral sensibility so powerful that it breaks through our inhibitors; it can burst out, explode into public view, to our own astonishment.'

Or to put it another way: you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

The lady who started all this off has spent most of the week at her home in Blackburn, near Bathgate, West Lothian, with Pebbles the cat, trying to make sense of it all. (Interspersed by a series of television interviews, naturally.)

'It has been an incredible week but I'm just taking baby steps, seeing where it goes,' she says.

'Singing on CBS was amazing and being given advice and encouragement by Patti LuPone was out of this world. She's a brilliant singer.'

How is she feeling at the moment, as the world goes crazy about Susan Boyle? And does she have an explanation for what has happened?

'I've been very calm and relaxed,' says Susan. 'I'm taking it in my stride. I have no explanation for it, none at all.'

Susan Boyle At Home

Susan, a devout Catholic, has lived in Blackburn all her life, and is the youngest of nine siblings (five girls and four boys).

Her mother, Bridget, was a shorthand typist before she had her children; her father, Patrick, worked as a storeman at the British Leyland factory in Bathgate.

The factory closed a few years ago, contributing to a decline in the Bathgate area. As they grew up, Susan's brothers and sisters left the family home one by one.

Most of her siblings stayed in the area, but one brother moved to Australia. Susan alone stayed with her parents. She had suffered mild brain damage after being starved of oxygen at birth.

Recalling her childhood, she said earlier this week: 'I was born with a disability and that made me a target for bullies.

'I was called names because of my fuzzy hair and because I struggled in class. I told the teachers but, because it was more verbal than physical, I could never prove anything.

'But words often hurt more than cuts and bruises and the scars are still there.'

Yet, bullied though she was, there wasn't anyone in Blackburn who could deny that Susan had an amazing voice.

She was a musical child and, at the age of 12, her mother placed her in the choir of her local Catholic church. 'I also sang in musicals at school, lots of them, I can't remember what.'

After leaving school, she became a regular on the microphone at the Happy Valley Hotel in Blackburn and performed karaoke at local pubs.

When she was 18, she took her one and only job as a trainee cook in the kitchens of West Lothian College.

'It was a six-month contract and then it stopped,' she says, suggesting that she is not as talented at cookery as she is at singing.

Ever since then, she has done voluntary work, on and off, helping the elderly, supported by her parents. She did not move out of the family home, and she did not go out on dates.
